Practice freely and use the staves in lessons. The theory is music’s; the implementation is this site’s.
Use
The quizzes are free to play and free to use in teaching – music lessons included –
without an account and without asking. Notation belongs to everyone; the drawings, the
question bank and the writing are this site’s.
Accuracy
The drawn positions were verified as described on the About page, and conventions still
differ at the margins between teaching traditions. Where a convention is contested the site
avoids it. Corrections through the contact page are welcome and get applied to the drawing
script, which fixes every quiz at once.
No warranty
The site is tested and it is still software. A page with JavaScript off shows its writing
and no quiz. Nothing here replaces a teacher.
